Unusual Baby Names
Exotic and unusual baby names can either be very good or bad, depending on how different the name is and the personality of the baby behind it. There are many things to consider before deciding to give your little boy or girl an unusual title. Keep in mind that a name is something that stays with a person until the day they die, and that if a name is bad enough it can be devastating to a childhood experience unless they are celebrities or the child of a celebrity.

Kids can be cruel when it comes to poking fun at someone’s name, so mom and dad shouldn’t go too overboard.
However, there is an upside to having such an exotic moniker, namely the fact that a person with a unique name will always be remembered and never blend into a crowd from birth until old age. In a world with six billion people, that is a definite advantage. Parents have the huge responsibility of striking a balance between a name that’s not too weird but that’s not too common, either.
An unusual name will make a child stand out, but the mother and father have to remember that someday their baby is going to be an adult going on a job interview, or may have the title of doctor, representative or even reverend in front of their name.

That being said, a unique baby name can serve a person in their life better that a very common name like Michael or John. Those aren’t bad names, but if you know your baby’s going to grow up in a unique environment and have a different personality than most, then they need a name to match. |
