Top 100 Baby Names
Many times, mom and dad just can’t agree on a name for baby, and that’s when looking at the top 100 baby names can be very helpful. This doesn’t mean that the parents have to look over the list and agree on one name, but it does give a good starting point for discussion. Sometimes, the mother and father can’t agree on a name because they are not willing to compromise. This stubbornness has to leave or the baby will never be named. One solution is to make one of the names in contention the middle name and then searching for a first name that both can agree upon.

Top 100 baby name lists have been made for just about every classification possible, from different years to different ethnic groups. Mom and dad can start with the top baby names for that year and then compare it to the top names for their cultural backgrounds. If their backgrounds are very different, there’s always the option of making one choice a middle name and the other the first name. Also, the parents need to test any option with the surname to make sure it sounds good. This is the title that will follow the baby for the rest of his or her life, so it has to roll off the tongue well.
