Summary: Good co-ed baby shower games are the key to making a shower fun for both men and women. We have many free baby shower games that mom and dad will both love. |
|
|
|
We also have ideas for baby shower decorations that will appeal to both sexes and look great.
Baby Bottle Chug
For those of you who have ever tried to drink out of a baby bottle, you know how difficult it is to drink quickly. It’s a great co-ed baby shower game because it’s fun to watch the dads try and chug. Fill small baby bottles with any drink, and The person that finishes the bottle first wins.
20 Questions about the Parents
This is a great baby shower game to test how much guests know about the expectant couple and for everyone to learn something about them. Beforehand, write out 20 questions about the couple and their pregnancy. Hand out copies of these questions and have all the guests answer them. Whoever gets the most right answers wins.

Dressing in the Dark
Try out this co-ed baby shower game to test the father-to-be’s abilities. Blindfold him and one other contestant and give each a baby doll, diaper, baby powder and baby clothes. Whoever correctly clothes the doll fastest wins.
Pregnant Shoes Race
Now everyone can put themselves in the mother-to-be’s “shoes”. Blow up some big balloons and have the competing guests put one under their shirts. Then, time them as the try to tie their shoes over the belly! It’s a great baby shower game idea for men and women to enjoy.
“Two” Much Fun
This is a great co-ed baby shower game that will have everyone roaring with laughter. Preferably get a man and woman to sit side by side. They must work together to dress a baby doll, but each can only use one hand. The one on the right uses the right hand and vice versa. It’s surprising how difficult it can be to keep the baby from bouncing everywhere! |
Multi-tasking Dad
This baby shower game is especially fun for co-ed baby showers. Have two people hold up a clothes line. Give the "victim" (dad-to-be is the most fun) a baby doll to hold, a telephone to talk on, and a basket full of baby clothes to hang with clothes pins. The timer begins whenever the dad receives a phone call (someone can call him from a cell phone). He must then proceed to have a conversation, hold the baby and hang out the clothes all at the same time! Have all the men try it and whoever does it the quickest wins. It gives the men a taste of what a multi-tasking Mom does all day.
After the baby shower game above, have the guests race around the yard while not letting any balloons fall out.
Name that Baby Food…Blindfolded!
Get two guests, preferably men, to sit facing each other. Next, blindfold each one and put a baby bib on them. Have someone feed them 4 to 6 different kinds of baby food, and make sure some of it is nasty-tasting vegetables. Peas work well. After tasting they must each guess as to what the baby food was. The most correct answers wins. Be sure to videotape all the sour expressions from the tasters!
You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby
This is a great baby shower game idea that can get everyone involved. Ask all your guests beforehand to bring a baby picture of themselves. Lay some poster board flat on a coffee or dining room table and lay out the pictures. Place a number beneath each one, and at some point during the shower hand out pieces of paper to everyone. Tell them to match the baby to the adult – the most correct answers wins.
Bowling for Baby Bottles
It’s a great baby shower game for bowling fans! Set up ten baby bottles as bowling pins and use a tennis ball as your bowling ball. Score it like a normal bowling game.

Baby Bottle Ring Toss
There are two possible versions to this fun and challenging co-ed baby shower game. First get some baby bottle rings. The first version is much easier – get something like a baby bath tub or a wash basin and have people stand 7 to 10 feet away. They get a point for each ring they land in the tub. A difficult version is to put baby bottles in the tub and have the players try to land the rings on the bottles.
Feeding Time
This is a great co-ed baby shower game for married couples. One spouse is the baby and the other is the parent. The parent has to feed their baby as quickly as possible while racing against another couple.
Baby Catch
If your having a baby shower during the warmer months, this is great as a co-ed baby shower game. First, have everyone go outside. Then, have them pair up and stand facing each other several feet apart. Give each couple about 5 water balloons and then have them all toss the balloons back and forth. The couple that goes the longest before breaking all their balloons wins!
Little Baby Balloon
This is a great baby shower game for the expectant parents to play. Each of them has to put an old-fashion cloth diaper on a blown up balloon without popping it. Add an extra twist by making the loser wear a baby bib. Great game for mom to have the advantage
My Water Broke
This is another good baby shower game idea to get everyone outside. Have each guest hold a water balloon in between their knees while racing around the yard. If a guest drops the balloon, they’re out.
